Noah Jupe: Red Carpet // Blue Suit

Noah Jupe, an up and coming young actor, known for Suburbicon, The Night Manager, and soon-to-be, Wonder.

Noah, son of actress Katy Cavanagh who is best known for her role as Julie Carp on Coronation Street, is following in the footsteps of his mum taking a path down the road of acting. He's played prominent roles in big name films, and had a number of supporting roles on other well-known shows like Downton Abbey and Houdini & Doyle.

We're really happy to see he chose to wear our favourite designers, Paisley of London, on the red carpet at Toronto Film Festival, rubbing shoulders with film elite. We think he fits right in with his choice of the blue Porter; an eye-catching tuxedo which definitely turned some heads, and the gorgeous patent black Nico shoes.

One of his upcoming escapades has been in Wonder; a film about the struggles of a young boy, August, with facial difference. He has been in and out of hospitals for years, unable to go to a normal school. With the help of his parents Nate and Isabel, played by Owen Wilson and Julia Roberts, and his best friend Jack (played by Noah), August tries to fit in at a new school.

The film is an adaptation of a 2012 book, also titled Wonder. It touches on issues many kids face at schools today, though maybe not to the extent Auggie (August) faces in the film. It is a heart-warming story of acceptance, children maturing to see beyond material looks and seeing the inner beauty in everyone. We're always impressed by young actors performing mature roles, especially with children taking the centre stage in this film. No doubt, Noah and Jacob (who plays Auggie) have done a great job of potraying all the stife and struggle of school!

 

The film is set to be released on the 17th of November, by Lionsgate, and we can't wait to watch it! Noah has a few other cogs in motion, with one rather large cog in the form of Suburbicon; directed by George Clooney.
